SPIDER is an independent centre, based at the Department of Data and Systems Sciences, University of Stockholm. SPIDER focuses on the digitalisation of international development.

We are looking to recruit a talented individual with an eye for graphic design who has experience creating user friendly, innovative and visually appealing products and websites. You should have a keen interest in communication strategies for international development work where human-centered-technology is a focal point.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a communications assistant in the project you will:
✅ In collaboration with the project lead develop solutions and propose improvements in function and design for a new website.
✅ Design and content-manage in WordPress using DIVI theme from Elegant Themes.
✅ Design communication-products i Adobe Creative Cloud package.
✅ Design social marketing Campaigns.
You will also be able to contribute to the overall work by the organisation and support the communication of the center’s impact.

QUALIFICATIONS
𝙴𝚜𝚜𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚊𝚕

✅Relevant academic qualification or equivalent training/experience deemed satisfactory by the employer.
✅Knowledge of work in PHP, HTML and CSS.
✅Experience of similar work web or graphic design.
✅Good communication skills and able to express yourself freely verbally and in writing in English.
✅Experience of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

𝙳𝚎𝚜𝚒𝚛𝚎𝚍
✅ Knowledge about UI/UIX.
✅ Proficiency in JavaScript, Bootstap and mySQL.
✅ Experience of Divi from Elegant Themes.
✅ Good knowledge about the importance of representation and norm-challenging communications work.
✅ Knowledge of SEO.
✅ Experience of strategic communication in Social Media
✅ Experience in audio and video editing
